Crystell is one of the permanent servants in the church in her hometown. As a person who holds fast to religion, she believes that building a community positively is to be more self-accepting or better known as “self love” which nowadays is a major issue that has happened widely.

Therefore, she thinks that this Unduk Ngadau competition is not only to highlight the ability to speak in mother tongue and a good personality, but also to highlight the physical and non-physical uniqueness that we have.

Apart from that, Crystell also supports efforts to protect aquatic life species that are increasingly endangered as a result of the pollution of aquatic habitats committed by humans today.
